Order a Guinness in Dublin, or anywhere else in Ireland, and it will blow your mind – it tastes nothing like what you might be served in the USA. Not something we’d typically consider ordering, but throughout our three days in Dublin, we couldn’t get enough!
So, of course, we had to visit the Guinness Storehouse, a museum dedicated to educating the public about the process of creating the perfect batch of malty, frothy goodness.
There was even a demonstration showing the many steps taken by a skilled laborer many decades ago to build the barrels used to store the precious brew. Back in the day, factory workers were even paid in beer!
The ticket to the Storehouse includes 2 free beers, and the tour ends in the bar, which is at the top level of the complex and overlooks the city. Such a great way to spend a rainy afternoon!
